Fastly Developing Turkish Natural Stone Sector has passed over the
1billion dollars export goal. EMIB president Erdinc said we need to
benefit from the OTV exemption while IMIB predient Keles said To
prevent the price based rival the domestic trade should gain importance.
Turkish Natural Stone Sector has passed over the 1 billion dollars
export goal in 2006. Comparing the previous year,the sector
hasincreased 27.55% and reached up to 1 billion 27 million dollars
export rate. This has been 3,758 thousand tons in amount.
Natural Stone Sector has broken a record in 2006 by reaching up to
1.027,3 million dollars export. These numbers helped Turkish Natural
Stone Sector to be on the top of World Natural Stone Market. This rate
was 3.226.348 tons in 2005. [stone-buy]
According to the statisticas of IMIB, sector has reached up to
128.735.863 in raw blocks, 329.484.532 in processed marble and
411.816.265 dollars in processed travertine. ( stone) |
